Sheet masks are face shaped Non-woven fiber, Cotton, Hydrogel or Bio-cellulose based sheets infused with essences or serums which have hydrating, brightening, or perfecting ingredients to pamper your skin. The sheet mask creates a seal on your skin, preventing any of the mask’s essential ingredients from evaporating and helping them penetrate the skin. These sheet masks are great quick fix of your problematic, dull and dehydrated skin.

They are free of animal ingredients, mineral oils, perfumes, and colorants. They are supposed to nourish your skin and brighten up your face. They provide a warm, moist environment that aids in the rapid and complete absorption of the skin care components. However, people with sensitive or acne prone skin should do a patch test before applying it on the face.

HOW TO USE?

SHEET MASK

The masks are one-size-fits-all. But everyone’s face is very different in terms of size and shape. To cover all corners of the face, start at the forehead, and line up with the eyes so you don’t get an air pocket. Pat the mask onto the cheeks, moving down towards the chin.Apply it on a clean face, leave for 20-30 minutes, then take it off.You do not need to wash it off. After you remove the sheet, you can even leave the serum on as your moisturizer for the day.You can use it 3-4 times a week.

PROS AND CONS OF SHEET MASKS:

PROS:

1.These masks help to lift, preventing acne, hiding fine lines.
2.Convenient and easy to apply.
3.Won’t dry out the skin unlike traditional clay or cream-based face mask.
4.Enhances skin tone and brings glowing effect on your skin.

CONS:

A bit pricey.

These masks are not replacements of regular skincare regimen. These are just adjuncts to moisturizing or applying anti-aging ingredients and sunscreens.I love sheet masks and would recommend you all try these out at least once.
